Review: Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (Harry Potter #1) by J.K. Rowling

”So light a fire!” Harry choked. “Yes…of course…but there’s no wood!” …

I was really little when I first saw the movies and now, when I’m 17, I’ve started reading the books. I’m far from disappointed! It was just as good as everyone told me it was. I was so consumed by the story, I read it really quick. The fact that Harry is just 11 in this book doesn’t even bother me. Maybe it’s nostalgia, maybe not. If you are doubting if you should read the books, this is your cue: DO IT! You won’t regret it.

  1. I started reading these books for the first time this year. I saw the first movie when I was like seven and Hermione was always my favorite from the trio. Imagine my surprise when I kinda disliked her in the books. Otherwise books are better, I think. I still need to finish book 4 but I’m not really that motivated.

There are so many books I’d rather be reading.

    1. Harry Potter has been a big part of my life since I was little and I only realised there were books when I was older! I have read 3 books, but eventually I will get through them all.
